Streek is excited to be teaming up with Blue Mountain Fitness again this year to provide you with UTA On-Course Training Runs.
These training runs are all scheduled to match the UTA Training Plan for 2026.
Blue Mountain Fitness is one of only a few companies with a National Parks and Wildlife ECO PASS licence to carry out run on-course training runs on the Ultra Trail Australia course.
They have highly experienced trainers who know the trails better than most.
They are locals and know the course back to front!

LITHGOW RIDGY-DIDGE TRAIL RUN
Perfect Training for Ultra Trail Australia 2026. Steep climbs, single track trails, firetrails and plenty of elevation.
50km and 22km courses have the same vertical gain/loss as UTA.

EASTER 2025 Weekend 3rd – 6th April 2026.
The Blue Mountains is very busy location during Easter and the traffic is full on and the Great Western Highway becomes a parking lot.
We understand this is a key period in your UTA training with only 6 weeks to go until race day.

UTA Training 5-7 hours 20-34-45km
Based around the 34km QV to QV Loop with shorter distances for those training for the UTA22 and longer distances for those wanting more distance and elevation on the UTA50/100km/100 Miler courses.

Based around the 34km QV to QV Loop with shorter distances for those training for the UTA22 and longer distances for those doing the UTA50/100km/100 Miler wanting more distance and elevation.

New to the trails, or an advanced runner looking for tips and tricks?
Everyone will be catered for on these training runs.
We will have a minimum of two pace groups – The speedy “Hares” and the slower “Turtles”.
We will put on a third faster group – “The Gazelles” if needed. We can also put on a Walking group if required.
Training with qualified experts, new friends and old, these on course training runs are invaluable to anyone doing Ultra Trail Australia 2026.

If you have a group of six or more runners we can do a private run on the UTA course on any day of the week.
We are happy to discuss variants of any of these courses if you want different distances for your run.
We can also do 1 on 1 Personal Training on parts of the course or conduct a specific training session – stairs, hills, etc.
