A big Thank You for your help in getting me to the Start Line at Jabulani today!  After thinking I was in for spinal surgery in December, I was able to start walking and then jogging back to a point where I thought the 22km might be possible.  I do feel that your Plan and your personal guidance helped me be able to train consistently, and gain strength and stability where I reckon I lacked it before.  Surprisingly, after not doing an event for about 18mths,& not training consistently, I finished 30/166 Females; 8/33 in my Age Category, & 162/442 Overall finishers.  I was expecting to finish in around 3.5hrs, to just finish, have fun, and finish without injury, so to come away surprising myself in just under 3hrs, was great.  (I did visualise your running technique on some uphills, and it felt SO much better than the old “lean forward” that I used to do!)
